WHEATON, IL —

The Faywell, the 334-unit apartment building at 220 W. Liberty Drive next to the Metra station, broke ground in July 2025 and is now targeting fall 2026 for first move-ins. The seven-story building includes a resort-style pool, fitness center, and coworking lounge. The real news: Egg Harbor Cafe is returning to its original Wheaton home in 4,500 sq ft of ground-floor retail. Egg Harbor's team is targeting a late 2026 or early 2027 reopening at the new space.
